The truth is, I’m not a very good DIYer. Don’t misunderstand me…I have the talent. The talent to copy someone else’s brilliance, that is. Yes – that’s talent right there. Seriously though, I can recreate things….but the issue is that I generally don’t. My main talent is in COLLECTING ideas. Yes. It’s an art really. I may change my ways though and start putting to use all of those Pins.
You see, I have a special love for concrete. Did you know that?! I truly love it. And, yes — my dream home does consist of a kitchen island with a concrete countertop. So, when I saw this DIY, I was more than excited. A concrete stool. Literally. Brilliant. Not only a new (totally justifiable and necessary) stool/table, but a perfect way to spruce up our outdoor space for just $15. Umm…you go to the store and try to find a table for that price. A cool table. It’s rarely going to happen. So, win-win. Cool and cheap and concrete.
ANYWAY, if you’re feeling creative, you should head over HERE for the instructions to The Paper Mama‘s easy-peasy DIY. When I actually do this, I want to put it by my entry way and top it with a fun plant. Wullll…heyyy…in my defense, I did mention that I love to add a little green pretty much everywhere.
